
Alex Jordan is a Registered Social Worker with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers. Alex holds a Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work and has been working in the field since 2015. Alex brings strong knowledge of local community resources, supports, and cultural contexts to practice. Alex is passionate about supporting individuals and families in strengthening their wellness, finding balance, and building meaningful tools to navigate life’s challenges.
Alex has experience working in both medical and mental health settings, providing support to individuals facing a wide range of concerns. Alex has worked with adults, adolescents, families, groups, and sports teams, and values providing a safe, neutral, and non-judgmental environment for all clients. Alex has supported individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress related to adolescence, athletic performance pressures, grief, confidence concerns, and life transitions.
Alex uses a person-centered, trauma-informed counselling approach, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution-Focused strategies. Alex is committed to helping clients identify strengths, understand their experiences, and build practical skills that support emotional well-being and resilience.
As a parent of two, Alex understands the day-to-day pressures that individuals and families navigate. Alex is committed to walking alongside clients, supporting them through both challenges and growth, and helping them cultivate confidence, resilience, and healing.
While Alex is not at work you will find her at a rink watching and helping coach hockey, attending the gym, and searching for the next best audiobook! Alex loves learning opportunities and often takes extra courses in her free time.
