
Katherine O’Callaghan is a Registered Therapeutic Counsellor who completed her Mental Health and Addictions Diploma through Saskatchewan Polytechnic. She is also recognized as an Associate Addiction Counsellor by the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation.
Katherine previously worked in Prince Albert as an Addictions Counsellor, supporting youth and young adults experiencing mental health and addiction concerns. She has experience working with anxiety, trauma, substance use, abuse, co-dependency, process addictions, and crisis intervention. Katherine works with clients of all backgrounds and is committed to creating an inclusive, 2SLGBTQI+ affirming space for individuals of all ages.
Her counselling philosophy focuses on meeting clients where they are and supporting them through their recovery journey using a holistic, trauma-informed approach. Katherine incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) into her practice while prioritizing compassion, safety, and connection.
